WORLD MASTERS SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Since the World Champs in 2004 at Riccione Online Tours have had two tour groups stay in the city. 150 for the World Masters Track and Field which were held there in 2007 and last year we were there with a golf group of 32. We know Riccione well.

Our accommodation at Riccione is exellent.

Airfares ex Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne with Emirates to Venice & fourteen nights share twin. Does not include transfers in Italy to Riccione, to be arranged. Proposed tourist tax 1-2 euro a night to be confirmed. This will be paid at the hotel.

The Championship pool is a 20 minutes walk from the hotel which is 100m from the beach. Rooms have air-con, are soundproof and have satellite TV. Free use of bicycles.

When we were there for the Track & Field in 2007 we had the free use of the hotel 10 -seater mini-van. Great people!

GREEK ISLANDS CRUISE OPTION

There is a post-championships cruise departing Venice on June 17.

If people wanted to do the open water swim to Bari the cruise could be joined at Bari on June 18.

Check-in in Venice for the cruise starts at 2pm, and the latest would be approx 4.30pm, we can make a request for you to embark in Bari, as long as it is understood there is no refund on the unused night.  It will also take approx 48 hours to reconfirm this request as we need to have approval with Bari customs.
